Timply (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is a subscription-based appointment booking platform operated by NovaTechBase LLC. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect through the Timply platform, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.
1. Information We Collect
a) Business account information:
- Business name, address, phone number, and email
- Owner and staff profile information
- Subscription and billing details (processed via Stripe)
b) Booking and customer data:
- Customer name, email address, and phone number submitted during booking
- Appointment details including date, time, service type, and status
- SMS consent records tied to a customer's phone number and the specific business
c) Automatically collected data:
- Browser type, device type, and IP address collected by our hosting provider
- Usage and session data for performance monitoring and security
2. How We Use Your Information
- Delivering and operating the Timply booking platform
- Sending transactional SMS messages on behalf of subscribed businesses
- Processing payments and managing subscriptions
- Sending appointment confirmations, reminders, and cancellation notices
- Identity verification via OTP during voice agent cancellation flows, where no authenticated session exists
- Security, fraud prevention, and legal compliance
3. SMS Messaging
Timply sends transactional SMS messages to customers of businesses that subscribe to Pro or Agency plans. Each subscribing business is assigned a dedicated 10-digit long code (10DLC) phone number used to send appointment confirmations, reminders, cancellation notices, and OTP verification codes.

4. Third-Party Services & Processors
- Payment Processor: All subscription and payment transactions are handled by a PCI-compliant third-party payment processor. Timply does not store card details.
- SMS Provider: SMS messaging infrastructure is operated by a third-party SMS provider. Phone numbers and message delivery are processed on their platform under appropriate data processing agreements.
- Database & Authentication Infrastructure: All platform data is stored on a secure, SOC 2-compliant managed infrastructure provider.
- AI Infrastructure Providers: We use third-party AI platforms to power voice booking agent services. Call recordings and interaction data are processed under appropriate data processing agreements.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party. Data is shared with processors only as necessary to operate the platform.
5. Data Retention
- Booking and customer data: Retained for the duration of the business's active subscription and up to 2 years thereafter.
- SMS consent records: Retained for a minimum of 4 years for TCPA compliance purposes.
- Payment and billing records: Retained for a minimum of 7 years as required for financial and audit purposes.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you
- Request corrections to inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data, subject to our legal retention obligations
- Opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP

7. Cookies & Local Storage
Timply uses cookies and local storage to maintain your session and remember your preferences. These are strictly necessary for the platform to function and are not used for advertising or third-party tracking. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, but doing so may prevent certain features from working correctly.
8. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (TLS), secure authentication, and access controls. All data is stored on SOC 2-compliant managed infrastructure. While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of Timply after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
